Wearing: Extra care should be taken to avoid exposing your jewelry to household chemicals like bleach or ammonia, or when swimming in chlorinated water. These chemicals may cause color changes and even structural damage to the jewelry. Please take off your jewelry before showering, sleeping, swimming, and exercising. Avoid brushing your jewelry against hard or sharp objects to prevent damage. Cosmetics, hairspray, perfumes and lotion contain chemicals that may damage jewelry. Putting on jewelry after applying these materials will reduce any potential damage.
Cleaning: To ensure longevity of your jewelry, cleaning your jewelry properly and regularly can maintain its beauty. Avoid cleaning in any form of chemical solution. Instead, use a clean, dry cloth. Jewelry with only gold and diamond can use warm, well-diluted soapy water whereas pearl, magnet, jade, and ceramic should be avoided. Rinse with the diluted water mix, and pat dry with a soft cloth. Jade jewelry should be treated with special care as it can break, crack or chip if dropped or knocked against hard surfaces. Do not use any jewelry cleansers or household detergents. Ultrasonic cleaner should be avoided as well. Silver jewelry should only be cleaned with a silver polishing cloth or professional cloths. Tissue or paper towels may cause scratches, because of their harsh fibers.
Storage: Clean your jewelry after wearing and keep it in a jewel box. Store your jewelry in a jewel box with compartments or dividers. Avoid stacking jewelry together to prevent scratches.
